Plastic recycling services offered by A& D Recycling :
we place staff on site to manage the removal of un-used plastic and ensure that the
place is kept clean and tidy. We purchase all plastic scrap off cuts and factory redundant plastic
materials, which we granulate and then supply back to the plastic industry.
Our plastic recycling service provides a cheap alternative to virgin materials
at a time when the global market has forced prices to soar.
We recycle plastic products
such as plastic bottles, plastic container, hd piping, recycling of plastic road barriers and Abs plastic sheet. Our services also include recycling of paper and
boxes. We recycle the following plasticmaterials : abs, polystyrene, Bopp, nylon, hdpe, ldpe, poly prop injection, poly prop bottlegrade and polycarbonite.

Please Note: If we don’t have it in stock we will do our utmost to source it for you. Thematerials arepurchased from plastic processors. Once at the factory, the materials are sorted into the correct groups, granulated and packed into 25kg bags. By using recycled plastic it reduces environmental damageand also provides a cheap alternative to virgin materials which are very costly.
We have invested in 3 granulators and thus offer a granulating service, if you want to reuse your materials

A & D Recycling was established in 2001 with the aim of supplying quality recycled plastic to the plastic industry. We take pride in our approach and have a solid track record.

South Africa uses over 5 million tonnes of plastic each year of which an estimated 19% is currently being recovered or recycled. Most families throw away about 40kg of plastic per year, which could otherwise be recycled.
The use of plastic is growing by about 4% each year. Plastic that ends up in landfills can take up to 500 years to decompose. Benefits of recycling plastics include less used plastic going to landfills, less oil used for plastic production and less energy consumed.
684,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions were saved by recycling plastics which is the equivalent of taking more than 216,000 cars off the road. Just 1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours. Recycling helps in preventing global climate change to a great extent. By minimizing the energy spent on industrial production, recycling also helps in reducing greenhouse gas emission.
Recycling Plastic is also economically beneficial. Similar to energy and natural resource, recycling also helps in saving a lot of expense, demanded for the production of new products from ‘virgin’ materials. These expenses include the entire production cycle starting from acquiring the raw materials, transferring them from their origin to production places, processing and manufacturing costs.
The Recycling process creates employment opportunities for a lot of people, involved in the various stages of the process. This in turn contributes to the economic development of South Africa.
